Kai is a very proud and a confident beyblader, who is
willing to sacrifice everything or anything to get what he wants. Which he
usually gets through determination, hard work, tear and sweat, however if at
times he doesn’t succeed. He is very likely to feel down and enter depressed
state, even willing to give up everything he holds dear. But when time
comes he grows stronger and becomes more determined than before. His most
distinguished quality is his sense of pride and fairness
Although kai appears mentally strong, he is one of the most
emotionally driven characters in the series. Even after accepting the role of
captain of the Bladebreakers, he always maintained certain distance from his
teammates. He is alone and had no friends most of his life, as the
series continues he matures and becomes more open with his teammates.
As the team captain, kai seemed to be caring about his
teammates. He saved Max from being smashed by a thick glass in season 1, saved
Tyson, Hillary, Kenny, Ray from Team Psykicks head quarters in season 2,
brought back Drigger to Ray during his fight with Dunga and many other times
Even though Kai’s a tough guy, he is shown bringing food for
a family of cats, feeding milk to a cat, staying with a cat in an alley,
feeding a dog. Which indicates that kai loves and respects animals more than
humans.
